Club Car, the global industry-leading manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles, has extended its long-term relationship with The Belfry Hotel & Resort, one of the world’s most iconic golf venues, and a worldclass.golf destination.
The prestigious English resort has received 40 new Club Car Tempo golf vehicles to complement the 80-strong fleet used across its three courses, the most famous of which is The Brabazon, a four-time Ryder Cup host venue.
The Belfry’s Head of Golf, Tom Hughes, shares why the resort continues to choose Club Car and the impact its next-generation Tempo vehicles – delivered by official Club Car distributor Farol – have had on both the player experience and operational efficiency.
“We’ve seen an immediate difference,” said Hughes. “A real benefit of these new cars is the lithium battery. The ability to not only have 120 buggies but to be able to double-rent them on busy days is a real game-changer.
“The new dash design is excellent. The little additions and improvements, such as having a slot to stand your phone in, make a real difference to the golfer.
“Having worked with Club Car for over 25 years, we know we can trust the vehicles. The after-sales service is brilliant, and knowing we can guarantee the quality our customers expect is one of the reasons we continue to choose Club Car.”
Andy Bourke, Regional Sales Manager – Golf and Consumer, Club Car, said: “The new Tempo model has improved design, feel and durability, which is incredibly important at a venue where the cars see such intensive use across three courses.
“We’re incredibly proud of the relationship we’ve built with The Belfry over the past 25 years, and of the fact our product helps their team deliver at the scale they need it to.”
