Costa Navarino has entered into an exclusive Continental European partnership with internationally renowned golf coach Dan Grieve, aiming to further elevate the experience it offers to golfers.
The sustainably-driven destination in Greece’s southwest Peloponnese has teamed up with Grieve – a PGA master coach and short-game expert who is one of the most in-demand coaches globally – to announce a series of new teaching academies and events for this autumn and 2027.
The first teaching academy will take place at the destination from October 24-31, featuring five nights’ accommodation at The Romanos, a Luxury Collection Resort, and three rounds of golf across any of Costa Navarino’s four signature courses. Additionally, in 2027, Grieve will host a number of golf schools for guests at Costa Navarino, including his annual invitation-only event in Greece, and selected private tuition to Costa Navarino residents on dates to be announced.
“I’m absolutely delighted to announce my new partnership with Costa Navarino Golf in Greece — one of the most breathtaking golf destinations in the world,” said Grieve, whose DG Short Game School is based at Woburn Golf Club and is also the author of the international best-selling book ‘3 Releases: The Short Game System’.
“I was blown away the first time I visited Costa Navarino, it’s absolutely stunning. Not only does the destination have four truly world-class golf courses but it’s also got the most fantastic short game areas. With so many undulations and different pin positions, you really have every shot you will ever need to play. It’s absolute wedge heaven at Costa Navarino.”
Situated in the region of Messinia in Greece’s southwest Peloponnese, Costa Navarino features four signature 18-hole courses – The Dunes Course, The Bay Course, the International Olympic Academy Golf Course and The Hills Course – as well as four five-star hotels.
The destination, which is a member of worldclass.golf, combines award‑winning hospitality with a strong commitment to sustainability, culture and the authentic heritage of Messinia.
David Ashington, General Manager at Costa Navarino Golf, said: “Dan has been a regular visitor to Costa Navarino over the last few years. It’s been a pleasure to watch his career progress to new heights, and we’re delighted to announce this new collaboration with one of the best short-game coaches in the world.
“With his reputation for excellence and the outstanding practice facilities that we have here – including at Navarino Hills where Dan will have a branded presence on the short-game area – he is the ideal fit for Costa Navarino as we continue to look at ways we can elevate the experience we offer to golfers and guests.”
