Connectivity Technology Drives Forest of Arden to Switch to Club Car

September 7, 2026;

Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club has become the latest venue to switch to Club Car after installing a new fleet of golf carts to service its two championship courses.

The delivery is one part of a wider deal covering Heythrop Park in the Cotswolds – part of Warner Hotels – and Dalmahoy Golf Course, just outside Edinburgh, Scotland.

In a new video, Forest of Arden Director of Golf, Fraser Liston, reveals that Club Car Connect – the industry leading fleet management and golfer experience technology – was one of the main reasons behind the change.

“We’re already seeing the benefits of switching to Club Car,” said Liston. “The screens display accurate yardages and maps on each hole, which our golfers are loving.

“With the Visage 4 system, we can control vehicle speeds, which is important for the safety of our golfers in high-traffic areas and across bridges. We can also create no-go zones to ensure the carts don’t go too close to greens, bunkers or lakes.

“We also chose lithium batteries, so we can get the carts out three times a day on one charge. This is something we’d previously never been able to do, so it’s hugely beneficial for revenue.”

Forest of Arden, a stone’s throw from Birmingham, comprises the Arden Course, which has hosted multiple DP World Tour and Legends Tour events, the Aylsford Course, a luxury hotel and spa, and two restaurants.

A firm favourite for corporate days and societies, the venue has received 40 Club Car Tempos, delivered by official distributor Farol and customised with brand colours and logo. The iconic Tempo delivers outstanding hill-climbing power and acceleration, and is renowned for its reliability and durability.

Phil Lewin, Director Club Car Connect, said: “We are thrilled to hear that our Visage 4 technology is driving a better, safer experience for golfers at Forest of Arden.

“It’s not only making a difference operationally, but from a revenue point of view too. It’s a great example of what’s possible when connectivity and course management work hand in hand.”
