Aphrodite Hills Resort officially opened the new Racket Club this month, marking a significant next chapter in the resort’s continued investment in sport, wellness and premium lifestyle experiences.
The official launch event welcomed members, property owners, partners, international media and VIP guests for an exclusive sunset celebration by the courts, introducing the resort’s fully renovated racquet sports facilities and new Healthy Bar.
The opening of The Racket Club further strengthens Aphrodite Hills Resort’s position as one of Europe’s premier sporting destinations. The sunset launch celebration provided an opportunity to experience the new identity of The Racket Club as guests enjoyed live music, sunset drinks and demonstrations from the club’s coaching team.
Aphrodite Hills was the first resort in Cyprus to introduce padel courts and continues to invest in the evolution of racquet sports on the island. The newly renovated Racket Club features four upgraded clay tennis courts with new playing surfaces, five hard courts and three renovated padel courts with new Mondo turf surfaces designed to enhance both performance and durability.
The refurbishment also includes a new Healthy Bar for food and drinks, contemporary changing facilities and a dedicated retail space for racquet sports apparel and equipment, including premium brands Ralph Lauren Wimbledon Collection, Hugo Boss, Wilson, On Cloud shoes, J.Lindeberg and Lacoste.
Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to experience a curated selection of signature Healthy Bar menu items, offering a first taste of the club’s new wellness-focused dining concept including quinoa cups, smoked salmon mini croissants, protein sandwiches, halloumi wraps, pulled pork bao buns and the signature Racket Club Açaí Energy Bowl.
Miguel Girbes, Director of Golf & Sports at Aphrodite Hills Resort, said “The Racket Club has been designed as much more than a sports facility. It is a social and lifestyle destination where our community can come together in a spectacular setting.”
Andreas Chrysostomou, Resort General Manager, added: “We are proud to continue investing in experiences that elevate the guest journey while further positioning Aphrodite Hills Resort as one of the leading active lifestyle destinations in the region.”
